(BrightCitizen.com) Everyone knew it. American UN Ambassador Susan Rice was sent on a tour of American talk shows telling people that a homemade Youtube video on Islam was the reason for the planned attack on the United States diplomatic mission in Benghazi Libya. No one bought the story so the White House and Barak Obama continue to try to modify the story.
Then news broke of the Internal Revenue Service using it’s audit terror power to target any group that is not in agreement with Barak’s policies. The IRS has been specifically targetting Tea Party based groups as these groups are mobilizing efforts to make the United States government more accountable.
Then the Justice Department is caught red-handed forcing telecommunications providers to give phone records of the Associated Press.
(BrightCitizen.com) President George W. Bush is famous for many statements. One of those that was clearly an effort to be politically correct after a crew of most Saudi Arabian terrorist killed thousands in their evil attack on innocent lives in American Airlines Jets that were commandeered to use as human missiles to attack the World Trade Center in NYC and the Pentagon.
Is Islam peaceful? Well, we’ve all met Muslims that seem to be. How do muslims answer that same question?
(BrightCitizen.com) If you follow the news, you’ll find recently that Stephen Hawking, the wheelchair bound educator from the United Kingdom, is active. He recently published a book that makes an effort toexplain away God.
Hawking says in his book “The Grand Design” that, given the existence of gravity, “the universe can and will create itself from nothing,” according to an excerpt published in The Times of London in August 2010. God science does not try to explain away what it does not understand. Has Stephen Hawking gone off the deep end? Many would say. Some believe that he has a bitterness toward God due to his physical condition. But how can you have bitterness towards someone you don’t believe in?
We all have to be open to discussion. now Stephen Hawking, is boycotting a major academic conference in Israel out of solidarity for Arabs.Hawking wrote a May 3 letter to Israeli President Shimon Peres saying he planned to respect a boycott of the June event because he considers the Israeli government’s policy toward the Palestinian territory a “disaster.” But Israel Maimon, chairman of the President’s Conference, called boycotting an academic event “outrageous and unwarranted.”
“Israel is a democracy in which everyone can voice their opinions, whatever they may be,” Maimon told the Jerusalem Post “Boycotting is not compatible with open democratic dialogue.”
Looking from a Judeo-Christian mindset, it would seem Mr. Hawking is bitter towards anything God. Teachers are supposed to be open to discussion. Rather than shunning those you don’t agree with, educators encourage students to talk with them.
Moreever, how can a teacher boycott something which he is not an expert in? It is much like the vegetarian singer refusing to sing at a concert due to the people barbecuing dinner around the venue as he walks off in his leather shoes.
(BrightCitizen.com) Barak Obama has proven himself to be a very weak leader. Despite the fact that Syria’s government used chemical weapons on their own people, and Barak Obama said that the US would intervene, Barak Obama has backtracked. He drew the line on the ground, they crossed over it, then he drew another line on in the sand.
CNN reported, Obama previously called the use of chemical weapons a “red line,” but the United States has not radically changed its approach to Syria in the days since an administration official announced the finding.
The United States doesn’t yet know “how they were used, when they were used, who used them,” Obama said. “When I am making decisions about American national security and the potential for taking additional action in response to chemical weapons use, I have to make sure I have the facts.”
CNN article here. It seems Mr. Obama has lost his gall. Of course, US intelligence knows who is doing what in Syria. That is the whole reason for the initial warning.
Fox News reported
President Obama said Tuesday the U.S. would have to “rethink the range of options” it has against Syria.
The president told a group of reporters he asked the Pentagon — as early as last year — for a range of options if President Bashar al-Assad’s government had used chemical weapons.
Certainly, he already knows what the options are before he threatened. But like a child on the playground after his line was crossed, he’s running back to the schoolhouse but still trying to look like he has authority.
